more fun stuff...

Ryker got a fun portable high chair for Christmas. He is still to little but I can't wait to use it this next year when we go camping and stuff.

I was having quite the conversation with my little guy so my mom grabbed my camera and got a picture.

I returned the favor. Sorry mom.

Kenzie stole Dustin's seat on the couch so she got squished...

Ryker continues to work on his head muscles. What a big boy!!

What a wonderful season it is. the season of giving, remembering our Savior, spending time with family...   I am always sad to see it end. but not so sad to get the tree down and my house back to normal!

Happy Baby, Sad Baby

This is so funny I had to post some pictures. Ryker plays sad baby happy baby with me when he is in the right mood. I tell him 'oh sad baby' and make a sad face so he pouts....

then I say 'happy baby!' and he will smile. what a goof!!

cute kids:

This is Ryker's great grandma and grandpa Hooper. This is the first they have seen him.

Grandma asked me to take a picture of them together. This is what we got. Hopefully we'll get something better soon but this isn't bad for now.

Christmas Card

Livingston Christmas Party

Every year Dustin's mom has a Christmas party with a special visitor. We eat dinner, play white elephant, see Santa and have a great time.

I finally was able to have Ryker see Santa. It is the only picture I got before my camera died (dumb camera) so I will have to get the rest from Karen. I did ask Santa for a new camera too while he was there.... :)

Basement

We have been working here and there on the basement trying to get my studio to look a little nicer and not be such a dungeon. Things kind of came to a halt when Ryker was born but this last weekend Dustin was off so he decided to see how much he could get done. We had already done the walls and texturing so we primed, painted, hung doors and trim, and had our electrician come finish the lights. Now we are just finishing touch up painting and we will be ready for carpet!

Sorry some of the pictures are really dusty! I'm going to have a lot of cleaning to do...

A new little one!

We are so happy to have another little cousin for the kids. Dustin's sister Talisha had a little boy on December 3. They named him Reggie Ty Robinson.

Ryker and Reggie were supposed to be 3 weeks apart but Ryker came early and Reggie came late so they are 8 weeks apart instead. They will be great little buddies.

Reggie makes Ryker look huge!! Reggie is about 8 lbs and Ryker 10 1/2lbs!

Congrats to the new parents.

Ward Christmas Party

We had our Ward Christmas party the other night. They are always a lot of fun. They are a chance to sit and visit with your friends and neighbors, eat good food, sing fun songs and of course sit on Santa's lap. Most of us did all of the above.

Some of the primary kids did a nativity scene while the other kids sang.

Kenzie was a sheep.

Haylee was an angel..?  hmmm.

Jayce made sure he gave a good list to Santa and promised he had been a good boy.

Haylee had to think about it a little bit.

Kenzie didn't care so Santa made some suggestions. Thanks Santa.

and little Ryker didn't get to go this year. But we will make sure we find a Santa for him to see.

Why fight it? Just give up and have a nap

The title sounds like it should have some deeper meaning to it. So if you can take it and apply it to your life, Kudos. Ryker certainly did.............

He was awake and happy so I put him on his tummy. Next thing I know he is out without ever making a fuss....  so I let him have his nap right there on the floor. Who I am to say where he should nap. :)

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving morning my family came over for a picture. Everyone was able to be here except for Kelan who was still in England so we thought it would be a good opportunity to update the pictures.

I even got some of my niece while she was here and available.

Then my mom and dad took the girls to Richfield to my Grandpa Hoopers for dinner. Dustin went to work and Ryker and I planned on hanging out at home but at the last minute Dustin mom and dad called and I went and ate dinner with them. So unfortunately Dustin is the only one who didn't get Thanksgiving dinner this year. Sorry dear.

On Friday I went to my moms and we made a bunch of frames to get ready for a craft boutique
(here is just one. We have about 40 of them)

That night my mom, my sister in law Leah and I jumped on the bandwagon and went to see New Moon. It was great. I am still team Edward though even I do feel bad for Jacob.

Afterwards we went to dinner and it was yummy Mexican from Los Amigos. (sorry Ryker)

Then on Saturday Kenley and Leah came over to my house to hang out and watch the 'big game' in neutral territory. Or not. but we did watch some of it (way to go Coleby) and hang out.

On Thanksgiving Leah and mom learned how to make scrubbies from Grandma Bobbie so Leah tried to teach me. I learned how to do them right handed so because I am left handed they may never look very pretty but hey, they still get the dishes clean right?

whew. and that was the weekend.
