Drywall in the basement

It has been a slow process getting the basement started. We framed it all a while back and had the electrical work done. Now we are finally starting the sheetrock. Hopefully it won't take forever since we started during the hunting season, and the baby could come sometime soon. Maybe we will have a good chunk done by Christmas. I hope to at least get my studio done soon so I can get back to work.





This nook is my future "office" so I can get all my stuff out of the way upstairs. and yes... I just might keep that treadmill in my office so I will remember to USE IT!

Haylee's 1st day of school

I cannot believe my little girl is old enough to go to school!! The time goes too fast. She was so excited to get there and has loved every day since she started. Although, this weekend she did say it is nice to have a couple of days off that she doesn't have to practice her name... :)


Kenzie got mad that she didn't get to go to school too. She is going to be lost without her sister.

Steck Family Reunion

When it's reunion time...... seems like that is what we do at the end of every summer. We love it. This time it was the Steck side. Since grandma can't go anywhere we came to her. We camped out in her yard, and played games, ate good food and had a great time.
