They just grow and grow

How I wish they could just stay little for a while longer.....

Ryker is growing and changing so fast. 

I can't get enough of those big cheeks!

He LOVES to chew on his hands. He has to wear bibs all the time because he soaks his shirts if he doesn't.

 

I have been encouraging a "snuggle buddy: at night because he sleeps better if he has something to hold onto. 

 He is so fun to watch as he discovers the world around him. I have had a toy hung by his changing table since day one and lately he has started to look for it and play with it. He gets really excited about it. (and other toys now too)

He also found his toes the other night.  He couldn't figure out how to reach them. It was so cute.

And not to forget my sweet girls. We were playing in the studio the other day and they posed for me. These are my favorites.

Birthday Week

Every January we have 'birthday week' in my family. I have 2 brothers and a dad all in the same week as well as an uncle at the first and and cousin or two in there somewhere...

My baby brother Landon turned 15 and my dad turned..  well that is a secret.... but happy birthday to him anyway.

My dad had surgery just 4 days before on his broken foot. Sure makes for a fun b-day.

And friday the 15th was my other brother's birthday but he is in england so we didn't get any cake. I did get to talk to him on the webcam though. I am so grateful for technology that allows us instant access to those that are far away.

wrestling/basketball

My busy busy son keeps us hopping. This time of year if it isn't a wrestling meet we are at it is a basketball game.
He does well at both sports but personally I can't wait for baseball season!

Ryker's Blessing Day

On Jan 3, Ryker was given a name and a blessing by his father. It was a really special day for him and we were so grateful for everyone that attended to help make it so special. I did get a chance to take some pictures of him before his big day so I am posting a few of my favorites. I still hope to take a few more soon.
