I haven't been able to do this yet that is why I am so behind. Some things are just too hard to write about. On September 17 my grandmother lost her battle with cancer and passed from this world. She has been fighting for so long and was so brave and "fiesty" we all thought she would beat it but in the end it was just too much and she decided to just enjoy what she could in the time she had left.
The day she passed we were able to experience a sweet little miracle. Grandma always loved rainbows. There was a Seminary movie she once saw about a son who asked his mother how he would know she still loved him after she passed away. She told him she would send him a rainbow. About 3 hours after grandma passed away the storm clouds rolled in and there over Ephraim Canyon appeared a beautiful rainbow. Not only did we see this little miracle but as phone calls were made it turned out that she had sent one to all her children throughout the state that weren't able to be in Ephraim at the time. Such a special story we have to tell now, and just a little reminder that miracles still happen. We know she is happy and without pain now.
She was a remarkable lady who influenced so many lives. I couldn't believe the number of people who turned out to her viewing and funeral. It was amazing to hear the stories and things that people remembered about her. Being one of the older grandchildren I am blessed to have several memories of my own. She will always be in my heart.
Her 4 sons and 3 sons in law were her pallbearers.
She requested that the grandchildren send her some balloons at her funeral so we did just that.
This is my older brother and my grandpa saying goodbye. There were many of these moments just too special to post. But needless to say I was in tears ALL DAY. My being hormonal didn't help, and in turn the emotions were hard on me physically but I made it through the day in fairly good shape I was just exhausted for a few days afterward.
We went back as the sun went down to say goodbye again. The flowers looked so bright and pretty she loved them I am sure.
Grandpa told everyone to take a flower home to save. Haylee is looking for the perfect one.
It has been really hard explaining death to my 5 and 2 years olds. Haylee is able to comprehend a little better than Kenzie. Kenzie tried all day to talk to me about what was happening. Why grandma got married (buried) and why we put her in the ground when she was just sleeping. I hope she wasn't too confused by it all.
I miss you so much already grandma. Take care of my little one for the next few weeks until it is my turn.

My big surprise
The other day I had the best surprise ever. My mom had worked really hard and was able to surprise me with a baby shower. Now, I know this is my 3rd but I hadn't ever had a real baby shower when I was pregnant with the girls, and since this is my 1st boy I needed lots of stuff I didn't have. It was a total surprise and so unexpected. Thank you everyone!
I just want to express my appreciation to my mom most of all, and also my family and my friends who always show their love and support for me in so many ways. I am truly so blessed. I have had so many offers to help with the girls when I am having hard days, and there is always someone willing to listen to my complaints. I KNOW I am loved and some days it makes all the difference.

Random Thoughts
I saw this on a friend's blog and just had to share it....
Please enjoy the laugh.
1. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
4. There is a great need for sarcasm font.
5. Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what was going on when I first saw it.
6. I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.
7. I think part of your best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die..
8. Was learning cursive really necessary?
9. Whenever someone says "I'm not book smart, but I'm street smart", all I hear is "I'm not real smart, but I'm imaginary smart".
10. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear what they said?
11. Every time I have to spell a word over the phone using 'as in' examples, I will undoubtedly draw a blank and sound like a complete idiot. Today I had to spell my boss's last name to an attorney and said "Yes that's G as in...(10 second lapse)..ummm...Goonies"
12. MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. Pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
13. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
14. Bad decisions make good stories
15. Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I'm from; this shouldn't be a problem....
16. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you've made up your mind that you just aren't doing anything productive for the rest of the day.
17. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after DVDs? I don't want to have to restart my collection.
18. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.
19. I like all of the music in my iTunes, except when it's on shuffle, then I like about one in every fifteen songs in my iTunes.
20. As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate cyclists.
21. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
22. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
23. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, phone in their purse, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the Snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time every time...
24. My 4-year old son asked me in the car the other day "Dad what would happen if you ran over a ninja?" How the heck do I respond to that?
Have a great day

Getting Ready for Ryker
I decided the other day to get Ryker's room ready since he keeps trying to come early. So we moved Haylee in with Kenzie and set the crib up one more time.
I had to take these pictures because several years ago when it was Haylee we were getting a room ready for, it was Jayce who was "helping" daddy with the crib.
OK buddy. Just because I am ready doesn't mean you get to come.....
