We had our Christmas Party at Grandma Livingstons. We play the traditional white elephant games. The kids love getting to open their Christmas presents early. As always watching their joy and excitement is so much fun.
McKenzie got to do her Christmas dance performance at Heritage Hills care center. I love watching my little girlies dance.
Lately Dustin and I have been trying to be more active and live a healthier lifestyle.. exercise more, eat less junk..
We took on the UHP colonel's Challenge and walked/ran 12 miles a week for 10 weeks. Yep thats 120 miles. We earned t-shirts, medals with our names on them, and Dustin got a days paid leave.
incidentally we have also both lost a little weight. That was a great bonus.
Haylee (and the third grade classes) got to perform at the Mr. Juab assembly. Lots of cute dances and the contestants were pretty funny too.
The ward party is always nice. We get to see a lot of our friends, eat good food, sing Christmas songs, They usually have a nice program put on by different groups. This year the high priests did a lot of it. Then of course is the trip to see santa and whisper their little heart's desires into his ears :) (while mom listens really carefully)
