Hooper Family Reunion

Every year over the 24th of July weekend we go up to our cabin for a family reunion. We eat, eat, sleep, visit, eat, fish and just have fun. The kids love going and always wonder why we only go once a year.


Here is Kenzie and her grandpa reading stories. She'll pin down anyone she can for a story.

More swimming lessons

I decided to have Haylee do another round of swimming lessons this year. She will have to do this class again next year but it was a good introduction into some of the strokes for her. She loved going and is sad that she is done for the summer.

Frozen pipes in the summer

Never thought I could have pipes freeze in the summer but apparently your air conditioner can if the filters get dirty.


We were without A/C for almost 2 days and it was HOT. I am definitely grateful for the amenities I have that keep me comfortable.
