July is here

 Summer is always so crazy!  It seems we never get to catch our breath.  July is already here.  We have been doing swimming lessons. Here is Kenzie's first jump {drop} off the diving board.

Jayce turns 12

I know right?!  12!!!!   where did the time go. I can't believe he is already this old.

He was up at scout camp for his actual birthday so the kids and I took his camp cookies and said hi. 

We celebrated a few days later with the presents and fun.

A day with my children

I recently saw someone do this and I thought it was a great idea. I took a whole day and I didn't do any of my projects or work and I spent the day with my children. From the moment until they woke up until the last one fell asleep I was there with them. That day I found that I had more patience with them, they didn't fight as much, and we had a lot of fun together. As the day progressed I lost a couple along the way...  my oldest went swimming with a friend and my other daughter went out to a movie with her friend so then you just get photos with the youngest until they are all back home and I tuck them in bed. Just looking at the pictures I can remember what a great day we had.

I think this is something I will want to do on occasion to remind me that the most important thing on my to-do list is to just spend time with my children. They don't stay this way for long.

New fun

 Remember that new car? well..  it sort of took the swingset $ so instead we decided to get the kids a trampoline. :)  We were sneaky and set it up after they went to bed so it was just there in the morning.
 So far it has proved to be very entertaining.

Father's Day

  Happy Father's Day to a wonderful father! 
We surprised him with pictures that I had my talented friend Janelle take so that I could be in them too.

 

 

Then over to the grandpa's houses. We really stopped at both but I forget to take pictures sometimes.
