The things kids say

I know I am way behind on my posting and I promise to try to catch up soon but I have to hurry and post this before I forget. I have been so bad at writing down the cute things that my kids say that I need to be better so here is the most recent.

Last night Kenzie came out of her room after I had put her to bed and she says, "Mom my tummy's hungry." Then she lifts up her shirt points to her belly and says "See! right there!" I laughed so hard. One because she was stalling about going to bed and two, because she had probably felt the rumbles and knew exactly "where" she was hungry.

Early yesterday she was playing with Haylee and all of a sudden she stands up, looks at me and says, "Do you have any Cay-ets? (carrots)." Imagine it in a go-fish type of question. I almost said nope go fish. But instead I went to the fridge and got her the bag of carrots. Isn't is awesome that her favorite snack is those pre-cut baby carrots? It is the only thing I seemed to have done well with as a mom... ;)
