The family is growing.

No! not another baby but a bird!  Meet Chico. Two weeks ago Haylee came home with a letter from school. This is what is said word for word:

Dear mom and dad, I would like a bird. It will teach me to be responsidle. I will feed it. I will tran it. I will spend time with it. And you won't have to see it. The bird will be a good friend. It will give me someone to talk to. I will play with it. I will give me someone to play with when you're busy. A bird is a good pet. They are friendly. It is easy to clean up after. They are small and don't tock up much space. Sincerely, Haylee.

Mom and Dad's response: We will think about it, IF you can be nice to your brother and sister, do your homework, and keep your room clean. I never thought it would work but here is what is waiting for her at home today...

 We will hope she can keep her promises about taking care of him.
