Not too much improvement today but this happens. They seem to plateau for a while then pick up and progress really fast when they are ready. So I am trying to be patient. We don't want to push him too fast and then relapse and have to stay longer.
Today he did seem more aware and awake. He finally opened his eyes so that is our picture for the day as well as one from last night where he got to try out a new position for a while. He seemed to enjoy it.

He's very sweet. It must be hard for you to not be near him. It will make holding him all the more sweeter. I hope his recovery goes smoothly. lots of love
Ryker has a strong spirit - he is such a beautiful, handsome little baby boy! We are thrilled that he is here and you are doing well! Our thoughts and prayers are offered on his behalf for the doctors, nurses, medicine and all things associated to work together to bring him safely out of this. I just read all the blog updates. Thanks for the info and posting the pictures! What a beautiful baby! I hope progress is just around the corner. I am praying for all of you every day. I can't imagine how hard this is on you. Be strong and hang in there. Love, Maria
